An Open Membership Invitation

The Flying Tigers 69th DRS Association, Inc. was established as a non-profit organization whose purposes include carrying on the history and memory of the contributions and sacrifices of the 14th Air Force Flying Tigers, providing college scholarships for the descendants of Flying Tigers and continuing to build strong relationships with our Chinese counterparts. One of our most important goals is to always remember the great works and friendships started so many years ago by the Flying Tigers.

Our group originally consisted of families and descendants of the veterans who served in the 69th Depot Repair Squadron (DRS) unit of the Flying Tigers, 14th Air Force, in World War II. However, since 2007 was the last year for the 14th Air Force Association reunion activity, the Board of Directors of the “Cubs” (children) of The Flying Tigers 69th DRS Association, Inc., unanimously voted to extend an open invitation to all former and current service members of the 14th Air Force, their families and descendants to join our group as we continue to honor the service and memory of these men who served so humbly and honorably for their country. We also will continue to plan and hold reunions of the veterans and ourselves and we would be most pleased to welcome new Tigers and Cubs to join us.
